Meet the Crew
Jackson
Hi, I’m Jackson Knoll and I am the owner operator of Jackson’s Base Camp. Skiing has been my passion since I first hit the slopes at the prime age of 3. Growing up in Michigan and graduating from Hope College, I finally moved to the mountains of Utah in 2008. Here I fell in love with the snow and strived to open a shop of my own. In 2013 my dream came true when I opened Jackson’s Base Camp. Not being able to stay away from the shop, you’ll find me with a smile, eager to help turn your day on the mountain into a lifelong memory.
Stephanie
Hi there I’m Stephanie I grew up in New York and was skiing by 2. I’ve been a ski instructor, snowboard instructor, and a race & events manager for a small mountain back East. I moved to Park City in 2000 to work for USSA as a NorAm/World Cup race assistant. I also had a short stint as the US Snowboard Team manager, after which I transitioned into the retail side of the industry. Additionally, I tested skis for the Buyer’s Guide with Ski Magazine for 12 years. I’ve been slinging skis and boot-fitting since 2004 and love every minute of it. There’s just something satisfying about getting people dialed in to the right gear. I’d love to help you find the perfect pair of skis and boots when you’re ready.

Originally from New England, Park City has now been my home for over 25 years. After racing back east, I had the opportunity to travel with the US Ski Team as an equipment technician along with working in various establishments in and around Park City. ,You can now find me in the tune shop making your skis better than new!
Ben
I fell in love with the mountains while growing up in Seattle and moved to Utah in 2009. Before joining the tune shop at Jackson’s I was working for the US Ski and Snowboard Team as a wax technician. I’ve had the pleasure of helping multiple athletes stand on World Cup podiums, and I’m proud to have been a member of the technician crew for the 2018 US Olympic Snowboard Cross team in South Korea. Ski fast, take chances!

Hi, my name is Bailey, Manager at the Alta Location. I was born and raised in Bridgton, Maine. I moved to Salt Lake City, Utah when I was 18 years old. I have been a part of the Jackson’s Base Camp Team for 5 years. Snowboarding, music, and drifting are my main passions. Looking forward to lots of snow and another year on the mountain!
Matt
Matt first clicked into ski boots at age two and has been loving time in the mountains ever since. Now based in Park City with his wife and two young kids, he’s usually chasing winter powder or a local brown trout, sneaking in a mountain bike ride, or teaching his kids to love the outdoors. At Base Camp and Hideaway, Matt brings energy for creating great members and guest experiences, along with the behind-the-scenes leadership that keeps things running smoothly.

Came to Park City for a one year ski hiatus in the 80s, and it was just too nice here to leave. The skiing was fantastic and the vibes were too good. After which I found my passion for boot fitting! I have a son in the Air Force and a daughter in school in Salt Lake. I spend most of my time in the summer golfing or fly fishing (I won’t tell you my secret spots!).

My name is Jake Phillips! I am the Rental Manager at Jackson’s in Park City! My brother, dog and I relocated to Utah from Georgia where we were born and raised in May of 2021 in pursuit of an active enriching lifestyle based heavily in the outdoors! My adventure so far came by way of chartering surf boats and seadoos for 4 summers, some spring seasonal golf work at local country clubs, and 4 incredible winters immersed in the ski industry in the heart of Utah. When I’m not working I can be found snowboarding, hiking, camping, fishing, or whatever the weather lines up best for! Stoked as always to be a part of Jackson’s and do my part in sharing the love for what we all enjoy doing most!

Hi! I’m Logan, I am the assistant retail manager this year. I moved out here from Georgia in summer of 2021 on a whim with my brother. Like many others, I fell in love with this place and simply forgot to leave. I have found a true passion for working in the winter industry and getting to help others have the absolute best time possible on the mountain and sharing the stoke all winter. Come summer I enjoy hiking, camping, road trips and anything else that keeps me adventuring outdoors.
