Jackson

Hi, I’m Jackson Knoll and I am the owner operator of Jackson’s Base Camp.  Skiing has been my passion since I first hit the slopes at the prime age of 3.  Growing up in Michigan and graduating from Hope College, I finally moved to the mountains of Utah in 2008.  Here I fell in love with the snow and strived to open a shop of my own.  In 2013 my dream came true when I opened Jackson’s Base Camp.  Not being able to stay away from the shop, you’ll find me with a smile, eager to help turn your day on the mountain into a lifelong memory.

Stephanie

Hi there I’m Stephanie I grew up in New York and was skiing by 2. I’ve been a ski instructor, snowboard instructor, and a race & events manager for a small mountain back East. I moved to Park City in 2000 to work for USSA as a NorAm/World Cup race assistant. I also had a short stint as the US Snowboard Team manager, after which I transitioned into the retail side of the industry. Additionally, I tested skis for the Buyer’s Guide with Ski Magazine for 12 years. I’ve been slinging skis and boot-fitting since 2004 and love every minute of it. There’s just something satisfying about getting people dialed in to the right gear. I’d love to help you find the perfect pair of skis and boots when you’re ready.

Stump

Originally from New England, Park City has now been my home for over 25 years. After racing back east, I had the opportunity to travel with the US Ski Team as an equipment technician along with working in various establishments in and around Park City. ,You can now find me in the tune shop making your skis better than new!

Ben

I fell in love with the mountains while growing up in Seattle and moved to Utah in 2009. Before joining the tune shop at Jackson’s I was working for the US Ski and Snowboard Team as a wax technician. I’ve had the pleasure of helping multiple athletes stand on World Cup podiums, and I’m proud to have been a member of the technician crew for the 2018 US Olympic Snowboard Cross team in South Korea. Ski fast, take chances!

Eric

Born in Arizona then moved to Park City at the age of 4 and started skiing. I ended up falling in love with big mountain/back country aspect of skiing. I’ve been blessed to be able ski most of the big peaks in the Wasatch mountains. When not at Jackson’s I also work as a route setter at The Mine Bouldering Gym. I spend my free time back country skiing and when it’s not snowing I rock climb. This is my first year in the tune shop and stoked to be helping Stump, Jackson, Ben and the crew make skis better.

Will

Growing up Cincinnati, Ohio I learned how to Ski at Perfect North Slopes in Indiana. A few years after getting the hang of things my parents took me and my brother to Vail, Colorado where I realized how much I wanted to move out west. When I turned 16 and was able to drive my parents bought me a season pass to Perfect North where I taught myself to Snowboard. At the age of 18 I broke my back, collar bone and dislocated my shoulder while snowboarding at Perfect North, putting a hold on my plans to move out west until 3 years ago when I moved to Salt Lake City and have been moving closer and closer to Park City every year.

Looking forward to my first day!

Lisa

Hi, I was born and raised in Mendota Heights, Minnesota to a skiing family. Every year my parents packed up our family of 8 and drove straight to the Rockies. It was always an adventure, and we got to ski at many great resorts. I met my Duluth, MN husband and we have continued this tradition with our own children.
In 2020, my husband and I turned 60 years old and decided to sell our 30-year-old Jacksonville, FL home and move to Park City, Utah. We worked at PCMR and Deer Valley and skied over 70 days and plan on skiing 100 days this season. I am really excited and happy to be working with Jackson incredibly talented team. My goal is to demo all of our women’s skis and hope you will stop by and check out our HUGE inventory of skis. I will be working at the Hideaway on Main Street and can’t wait for you enjoy a stress-free day of skiing with me at the Hideaway.
